A morning at Tanjung Benoa with one round each of banana boat, couple parasailing and jet ski. In the afternoon, visit Uluwatu Temple on its clifftop above the ocean and stay for the Kecak fire dance at sunset.

Cross by boat to West Nusa Penida for Kelingking Beach and its T-Rex cliff, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Bay, with a local lunch. Viewpoints have steep steps; boats run subject to sea conditions.

Drive into the cool hills of Bedugul for Ulun Danu Beratan, the temple on the lake, and a photo at the Handara Gate, then head to the coast to watch the sun set behind Tanah Lot.
